Responsibilities

Build Kafka as a platform from scratch, focusing on replicates, nodes, resiliency, brokers, and networking issues

Migrate core Applications to MS Azure, monitoring their progress and troubleshooting issues

Utilize tools like Splunk and AppDynamics for monitoring and troubleshooting

Read and query logs, pinpoint systems issues, and escalate when necessary

Maintain CI/CD pipelines, trace back and resolve pipeline issues

Possess Linux and shell scripting skills for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks

Lots of experience as an SRE

Experience in building Kafka as a platform from scratch

Good experience in Kafka and Distributed Systems: Hadoop, Kassandra, and Kafka

Knowledge of Splunk

Experience in site reliability of Java applications on Linux

Cloud Experience (Azure Preferred, AWS/GCP Okay)

Linux scripting

Must have SRE Background
