Responsibilities
Scaling data ingestion pipelines to handle increasing data volumes with stringent idempotency guarantees.
Establishing best practices for observability and reliability to minimize downtime and uphold SLAs.
Designing and implementing system-level components to support other engineers and balance workloads across customers.
Contributing to the development of engineering and product processes for long-term success.

Required
4+ years of experience in software engineering, and you’ve worked in an SRE capacity for 2+ years
You’ve previously participated in a production on-call rotation for a large-scale system with well-defined SLAs
Strong knowledge of best practices in modern software development such as deployments, CI/CD, data management, security, and distributed systems.
Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate (with support from Orb)
