Responsibilities

Identifying Learning Outcomes: Define the course learning outcomes, ensuring that they align with the industry standards and the overall program objectives.

Designing Course Structure: Develop a detailed course structure that includes topics to be covered each week, readings, assignments, virtual lab practices, and assessments.

Recommending Assessment Formats: Recommend different types of assessments (e.g., quizzes, projects, exams, virtual lab assignments) that will effectively measure the students’ achievement of the learning outcomes.

Providing Reference Materials: Provide a list of reference materials (e.g., textbooks, articles, and websites) that the Instructional Designers can use to create the course content.

Weekly Student Assignments: Develop and review detailed weekly assignments that align with the learning outcomes and the course content.

Required

Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Action Research, Educational Research, Applied Research, or a closely related field.

Extensive practical experience in conducting and supervising action research projects.

Publications or documented projects demonstrating successful outcomes of action research.

Experience in teaching action research methods at the doctoral level.

Knowledge of proactive and responsive action research methodologies.
