Responsibilities

Orchestrate Security Operations: Design, develop, and implement SOAR playbooks within Google SecOps, automating security tasks and workflows to streamline incident response and enhance efficiency.

Connect the Dots: Integrate Google SecOps with other security tools, including ticketing systems and security stacks, creating a cohesive and powerful security ecosystem.

Empower with Automation: Develop custom scripts and integrations using Python to extend the capabilities of Google SecOps and tailor solutions to specific client needs.

Troubleshoot and Optimize: Analyze and resolve issues related to SOAR playbooks and integrations, ensuring smooth and reliable operation of the security orchestration platform.

Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with security analysts, engineers, and clients to continuously improve security operations and drive innovation within the Google SecOps environment.

Stay Ahead of the Game: Continuously update your knowledge of the latest SOAR best practices, Google SecOps features, and emerging threats to maintain a cutting-edge security posture.

Share Your Expertise: Contribute to the development and improvement of Foresite's SOAR capabilities, sharing your knowledge and insights to empower both colleagues and clients.

Required

Solid understanding of security principles and experience in a security-related role, demonstrating a grasp of fundamental concepts and best practices.

Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms, preferably Google SecOps (Siemplify), showcasing your ability to design, implement, and manage automated workflows.

Proficiency in Python scripting, enabling you to create custom integrations, modify existing playbooks, and extend the functionality of Google SecOps.

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its security offerings, demonstrating an understanding of the broader ecosystem in which Google SecOps operates.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling you to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills, allowing you to effectively work with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

A genuine passion for automation and a desire to leverage technology to improve security operations and efficiency.
