Responsibilities
Create social marketing strategies for platforms including but not limited to Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads and YouTube
Design content utilizing original video or graphics to create engagement on the aforementioned platforms
Collaborate with show hosts on an editorial calendar and platform management.
Collaborate with show hosts and talent on marketing messaging.
Deliver promotional assets to show guests and liaise with them on how and when to promote their episode.
Ability to identify cultural moments and trends that the brand should participate in, especially when it's not included in the podcast itself.
Maintain knowledge of current industry trends. Recognize potential issues and problems, know when to escalate and propose solutions
Knowledge & familiarity of reporting platforms: (YouTube Dashboard, Twitter Dashboard, Facebook Analytics, etc.)
Strong storytelling abilities and writing skills for social media. Must be able to provide samples of previous work.
Should have knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Spark, Canva or other similarly related platforms and proficiency in Excel, and Google Docs
Must be a quick learner, able to take the reins on a project with limited guidance.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Knowledge and interest in sports culture (specifically the NBA) and entertainment as a whole.
Flexible schedule including the ability (and eagerness) to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends

Required
Proven success as a social media manager in the audio space.
Managed the development and growth of a radio or podcast show's social footprint.
Deep understanding of the NBA and the Pop Culture social media space.
Prior writing, podcasting and social media experience.

Education: Seeking or have a BA/BS college degree, preferably in an industry-related field but not mandatory for individuals with relative experience.
