Responsibilities

Handle all of our social media platforms.
Create original videos and content for a variety of social media platforms.
Manage multiple social media platforms.
Attend weekly meetings and stay in communication with the founder.
Post, promote, drive audience engagement & gain followers daily.

Required

Must be available to start as soon as the first week of December 2024.
MUST be able to dedicate 5 months at 14 hours per week (avg 2 H per day).
MUST be comfortable in front of the camera; comfortable and excited to create original videos and content for a variety of social media platforms.
MUST be familiar with, or eager to get familiar with social media trends.
An passion for mental health and suicide prevention.
The enthusiasm to make a difference.
Ability to attend weekly meetings and stay in communication with the founder.
Willingness to learn and help with various assignments in the nonprofit world including fundraising and outreach.
Must be a reliable, professional, and proactive with a team spirit.
Creativity is a MUST.
Passion for mental health is a MUST.
Great grammar, reading, writing & overall linguistic skills.
Must be comfortable and eager to put yourself on camera & creating video content while representing Breaking Taboo.
High communication skills.
Willingness to take direction while still displaying creativity.
Ability to be proactive without needing to be micromanaged.
Good time management skills, including completing tasks on time.
Proactive and goal driven, dedicated to making or exceeding our goals.
Above adequate grammar skills, word comprehension, verbal skills, and great comprehension of linguistics.
Implementation of basic modern day technology such as video uploads, spreadsheets, and social media.
Eagerness to learn and implement skill sets.
Obtainment of College Degree or currently enrolled in College/University will have top considerations.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to push our organization ahead is a big plus!

Preferred

Candidates with some experience in original content creation for social media preferred.
Interest and enthusiasm in learning and gaining useful skills in Digital Marketing, Communications, Branding and Marketing, Social Media content and analytics, Outreach and public relations, Pitching, Fundraising, Psychology.
