Responsibilities
Conduct analyses of the quality and performance of HHS health and human services programs, including analyses of case mix adjustment of survey estimates of satisfaction with plan and provider performance.
Utilize appropriate market research and statistical techniques to identify ways to improve services to these programs.
Lead in the development of clearly written and concise issue papers and talking points for senior staff when needed.
Design, analyze, implement, and interpret studies regarding the influence of communications about disease and therapy.
Represent the organization at briefings and other meetings regarding the justification and approval of specific projects.

Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National
Background and suitability investigation required
At least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government
Experience in conducting quantitative analyses of health care insurance programs or payment models using statistical techniques
Experience in interpreting and analyzing data related to Medicare, Medicaid, or other health insurance programs
Experience in summarizing key policy-relevant data findings and communicating them in writing and/or verbally
Degree in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines
Transcripts required at time of application
Four years of appropriate experience demonstrating knowledge of behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field
Transcripts required to verify completion of educational requirements
