Responsibilities

Own, define and maintain the overall vision & strategic direction for projects and architecture within our Neogov suite of products

Stay ahead of the latest technology trends and best practices to incorporate innovation into the company’s products

Ensure the SaaS platform is optimized for performance and scalability, addressing any bottlenecks and ensuring the system can handle growth in users and data

Advocate for and implement automation in the development and testing processes to enhance efficiency

Mentor and guide architects and senior developers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Create and maintain technical roadmaps for the software architecture, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives and strategy

Design and implement architectures and technologies with security at the forefront, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards such as FedRAMP

Required

Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize large-scale distributed systems with focus on system scalability, reliability, reusability and performance.

Strong leadership skills in fostering collaboration and driving project timelines.

Experience in designing and building platform services, APIs, and processes that can be seamlessly integrated and leveraged by multiple product delivery teams.

Exceptional ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to a diverse audience, ranging from executive leadership and business units to technical teams.

Skilled in engaging with and influencing stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment of architectural strategies with business objectives.

Expertise in latest security practices and identifying potential security risks in platform services.

Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks and protocols including OIDC and SAML.

2+ years of experience as a Software Lead or Architect in a SaaS company.

10+ years of software development experience using C#, .NET Core, SQL, JavaScript.

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
