Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, design or customize software to optimize operational efficiency, and analyze and design databases within application areas.

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software across various fields such as medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.

Set operational specifications, formulate and analyze software requirements, and design embedded systems software, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Participate in scrum teams supporting the SAFe methodology

Develop using Java, Python, Node, and PostgreSQL

Develop and maintain front-end user experiences (dashboards)

Develop backend message processing software

Create and deliver unit tests and automated tests

Develop microservices and refactor code

Develop and maintain data synchronization tools and troubleshoot issues

Manage technical debt for end-of-life products and their replacements

Pull team features from a dynamic product backlog

Develop applications leveraging NIEM XML to communicate with external customers.
