Responsibilities
Lead Development Projects: Oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of web applications using PHP and MySQL, ensuring scalability and performance.
Implement and Refine Front-End Standards: Design responsive, accessible interfaces using HTML/CSS and best practices for layout, styling, and browser compatibility.
Advanced REST API Management: Build, integrate, and optimize REST APIs for robust data exchange between services, ensuring security and performance standards.
Accessibility Compliance Leadership: Champion Section 508 and WCAG compliance, implementing and reviewing code to ensure accessibility across all projects.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Lead the debugging and resolution of complex technical issues to maintain high application performance and reliability.

Required
Proficiency in PHP and MySQL, with demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing database-driven applications.
Advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS for responsive and accessible front-end design.
Extensive experience with REST APIs for third-party integration, including authentication, error handling, and API security.
In-depth understanding of Section 508 and WCAG compliance, with a track record of implementing accessible design practices.
5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, REST API, and accessibility.
Previous experience leading projects and guiding technical strategy.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality code in a team-oriented, agile environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work on time.
Preferred
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js or React) and responsive design.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and automated testing.
Knowledge of security best practices for web applications.
