Responsibilities
Develop software requirements for Machinery Control Systems (MCS) based on specified guidelines and standards.
Design software integration for networking and control systems.
Maintain software and hardware installation procedures and documentation.
Provide engineering services for hardware and software technical documentation.
Develop simulation models for Machinery Control Systems and Machinery Plant operations.
Support software lifecycle following engineering standards and specifications.

Required
Bachelor's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics OR 9+ years of experience with CompTIA Security+
3-5 years experience C++, Java, Python software programming languages
3-5 years experience software development in socket programming
3-5 years experience software development in PLC simulation & coding
3-5 years experience software development with graphical user interfaces
3-5 years experience software development in DevOps
Desired certifications: Window or Linux or OS certifications
Candidates will be cleared at a DoD Secret level or able to be cleared at that level.
Preferred
3-5 years experience software development in OPC-DA
3-5 years experience software development in OPC-UA
Requirement to work in the office at least 2-3 days a week.
Work with Engineers and team members to develop standards and requirements
Able to work independently and have the ability to use appropriate judgment between what is requested and what is feasible
Must have good communication skills including communication with and with people with varying technical knowledge and various levels of management
