Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Lead Developers to capture business requirements for integration processes and conduct detailed analysis of system specifications.
Analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and test software applications related to company systems.
Provide workable solutions to processing challenges and document product functionality.
Support QA and deployment activities and troubleshoot production defects.
Participate in code reviews, gaining insight into the software development lifecycle and adhering to standards and best practices.
Plan, design, develop, and deploy applications while maintaining developed code in revision repositories.
Proactively communicate work status to the development and project teams.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and C# or other modern object-oriented development frameworks.
Experience with open-source tools (e.g., log4net, NUnit), version control systems (e.g., Git), and SQL databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle).
Familiarity with software development tracking tools like JIRA or Target Process.
Strong grasp of programming concepts, secure coding, object orientation, and design patterns.
Proficiency in unit and integration test scripting, testing methodologies, and tools.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, plus at least one year of IT experience, or equivalent military experience.
Preferred
Curriculum focus on SQL and Microsoft .NET frameworks.
Two or more years of IT experience, especially in the health insurance industry.
