Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support custom applications based on the Microsoft .NET/SQL technical stack

Work with COTS applications, including technology evaluation, software upgrades, customizations, and development of integration components/services

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project team members to analyze requirements and develop complex solutions

Maintain and develop web-based applications and APIs

Utilize SQL database development skills for database design, complex queries, and performance tuning/optimization

Work with modern JavaScript frameworks and technologies

Adhere to best practices in application architecture, cloud-based computing, coding standards, design patterns, and security

Document requirements and produce technical documentation such as process diagrams, process flows, data models, and system architecture diagrams

Adapt to changing business priorities and maintain commitment to quality and attention to detail

Utilize excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required

Proven experience in Backend Development and API Development

Proficient in using ASP.NET, CSS, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, and C# Sharp for software development

Demonstrable skills in JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, and Web Services API

Expertise in working with Database and EO/IR systems

Ability to analyze user needs and develop software solutions

Familiarity with software design, coding, and testing principles

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Knowledge of software development methodologies and life cycles

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

Previous experience in a government role is advantageous
