Responsibilities

Collaborate with SDEs, PMs, TPMs and SDMs to architect and deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.

Crisply document software to ensure future developers understand the intention behind features and components.

Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all team deliverables.

Troubleshoot, research root causes of problems, and resolve defects.

Participate in operational excellence rigor for a rapidly growing tech stack.

Take ownership of problems, propose solutions, and ensure resolution or hand-off to the right owner.

Participate in team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.

Contribute to code reviews, tech talks, innovation drives, and patents.

Participate in the interview process and help train and mentor peers.

Measure success metrics and influence the evolution of the tech product.

Required

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
