Responsibilities

Lead and manage an engineering team towards building solutions to challenges in the Data, Science, and Interoperability platforms space.

Work closely with engineers, data scientists and clinical domain experts to build enterprise scale applications and platforms.

Provide leadership, direction, and strategy to the team.

Establish and develop the team to meet and execute the strategy.

Contribute to the success of your team and other related teams.

Deliver large-scale projects on time with high quality.

Required

5+ years experience managing a product engineering team of 8+ people

Strong knowledge of technical architecture and software engineering best practices

Experience applying, measuring, and improving agile engineering processes

Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to establish detailed product plans and roadmaps

Experience with large-scale deployments and use of the Python or Java SE platform

Preferred

Experience in the healthcare domain a major plus

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
