Responsibilities
Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Software Development Sr Manager at GDIT.
Tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of clients.
Deploy, analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate established web application issues in the intelligence community.
Engage with senior-level executives at customer meetings to evangelize product and portfolio vision.
Collaborate and participate in design and development work for well-established investigative and intelligence clients.
Be the Database Administrator for maintaining the security posture and functional updates of the existing Oracle database and web tier.
Plan new changes based on customers' description of application modification desires.
Manage the design and development of enterprise-wide systems and applications software.
Understand STIGs and security findings in an Oracle Relational Database.
Write specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.
Assist in the completion of unit testing, prepare test data, run tests, and evaluate results.
Create basic documentation in work changes, revisions, or problems.
Conduct routine quality assurance activities such as application audit reviews.
Remain abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and standards.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or related field preferred
Five to ten years of experience in programming or application support
Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software
Experience in the areas of: Design and implementation of HTML pages, Design and implementation of Oracle database for high transaction web application, Analyze user requirements and technical documentation, JavaScript skills, Working in an Agile development environment, Able to obtain SCI Clearance after hire for each customer, Basic programming skills, Personal computer and business solutions software skills, Analytical and problem-solving skills for relational databases, Interpersonal skills to interact with team members, Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
