Responsibilities

Develop reliable, maintainable and scalable web applications on the cloud infrastructure

Architect and implement UI components and reliable features based on functional and business requirements

Maintain and expand the design system to ensure a consistent user experience across the application

Collaborate with peer engineers, the product and design team in an agile environment to design and coordinate the development and testing of new features

Participate in task breakdown and estimations, code reviews, bug fixes and deployment preparation

Identify, test and propose improvements to the application for maintainability and scalability, and to accelerate functionality and performance

Contribute to the SDLC process efficiency and effectiveness - optimize workflows, implement Best Practices, establish additional automation and tools integrations

Maintain and optimize workstreams in accordance with established KPIs and proactively communicate any deviations and work with stakeholders to develop solutions and maintain project timelines and quality standards

Required

5-8 years of hands-on frontend software and UI/UX design development experience

Strong experience developing web applications with React, and/or NextJS

Strong proficiency in ES6, TSX, HTML5, and CSS3

Proficiency in using design tools such as Figma

Knowledge of client-side, server-side rendering and SEO optimization

Knowledge of A11Y best practices

Experience in REST API and Webhook integrations

Proficiency in responsive design

Experience with TDD practices and testing tools such as Vitest, or Playwright

Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket

Experience creating solutions in an Agile environment.

Experience working in a DevOps environment (we are on AWS & Vercel)

Experience working in a CI/CD environment.

Experience contributing and maintaining design systems

Preferred

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services like AWS, Azure or GPC; infrastructure as code

Experience in eCommerce or FinTech startup/enterprise

Experience working with globally distributed teams

Competency in Microsoft Suite, Teams, JIRA, Confluence etc.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, System Administration, or other related business, scientific or technical discipline
