Responsibilities

Develop and support tools with a focus on usability and customer needs

Write and deploy code across Cash App's evolving architecture

Integrate machine learning models for real-time intelligence on bad behavior

Collaborate with feature teams to expose misuse by bad actors during product launches

Contribute to the platform of services and data pipelines designed for scalability

Required

Experience with API design and developing microservices

Have an iterative approach to identifying MVPs and shipping

Excited about working with fintech, blockchain, machine learning, and data science products

5+ (at L5) / 8+ (at L6) years of relevant industry experience

Java, Ruby or Python software development experience

Some experience developing front-end applications

Desire or experience working with Fintech, Regtech, Blockchain, machine learning, data science, and virtual currencies

A curious, passionate, growth-oriented mindset

Natural curiosity and a desire to manage all aspects of building our tools in a small, and very growing team

You must enjoy writing and shipping production software
