Responsibilities
Build technical foundations of a critical product that needs to be reliable and accurate at scale.
Work closely with customers to understand pain points in their business processes and incorporate insights into the product roadmap.
Tackle technical challenges related to product data model, real-time ingestion and query, extensibility, and scaling characteristics.
Lay the groundwork for engineering and product processes to ensure continuous development and customer service.

Required
4+ years of experience in software engineering
Enthusiastic about working on a broad range of technical challenges across the stack
Attention to detail in designing a product with deep user empathy: in visual UX, API design, and everything in between
Excited to engage with customers directly to shape the Orb product
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate (with support from Orb)
Preferred
Have worked on developer-facing products or an internal platform team
Have experience working on large-scale data infrastructure problems or distributed systems
Enjoy understanding the nitty-gritty of technical domains deeply
