Responsibilities

Work on Grow, Goals, and Manager Tools products to enable managers to cultivate continuous, meaningful interactions with their direct reports.

Build and own products across a modern tech stack including React, Relay Modern, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.

Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications to optimize functionality and performance.

Participate in code reviews and testing processes to ensure high-quality software deliverables.

Contribute to project documentation and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.

Identify and evangelize improvements in engineering practices to enhance team output.

Required

2+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications

Experience with modern programming languages like JavaScript and Typescript

Experience with frameworks such as React, Relay, and Next.js

Ability to create complex components with multiple use-cases that are easy to compose and use across a scaling organization

Understanding and promotion of pragmatic testing from the component level to entire pages

Experience with design systems or UI framework integration/maintenance

Ability to debug software defects and champion improvements to prevent future issues

Understanding and championing of accessibility requirements for modern web development

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to write code that colleagues can own, understand, and maintain

Clear and concise in explaining thought process and tradeoffs made in work

Ability to work well with designers and product managers to come up with optimal solutions

Experience mentoring and supporting other software engineers

Experience in planning and executing the development roadmap for software projects
