Responsibilities
Design and maintain specialized Python tools supporting the developer build and publication processes.
Contribute to Snapcraft, enabling automatic app updates across millions of Linux systems and supporting thousands of applications.
Collaborate on Charmcraft, facilitating the packaging of software like databases and observability tools through Charmed Operators.

Required
Proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of modern GNU/Linux distributions.
Strong grasp of build systems, toolchains, and cross-compilation processes.

Experience with integrating languages, frameworks, and CI systems to enhance the snap build ecosystem.
Ability to engage with open source and commercial projects to meet community needs effectively.
