Responsibilities

System continuity testing and execution.

Developing and maintaining SAP environments, including installing SAP application components.

Monitoring and troubleshooting SAP technical issues.

Creating tools and processes for continuity management.

Developing procedures for system issue resolution.

Collecting and analyzing metrics for long-term trends.

Installing and maintaining hardware and software.

Enhancing security settings and user access processes.

Working with engineers across Nike to use and enhance the platform.

Optimizing IT infrastructure and services to ensure cost-effective and sustained application availability.

Developing and executing complex tools and processes to support continuity management.

Designing, testing, and implementing monitoring tools and processes.

Writing procedures to address system issues and ensure resolutions.

Collecting and analyzing long-term metrics for trending purposes.

Performing complex installations of hardware and software, proactively ensuring success.

Devising processes and procedures for applying and maintaining security settings and user access based on the technology platform.

Recommending improvements based on analysis of current techniques and perceived imperfections.

Required

5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.

3+ years of development experience using AWS.

Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy, Java.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers across Nike.

Strong focus on computer and telephony technology tools for information creation, storage, exchange, and use.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience.

Specialized SAP basis skills for creating and maintaining SAP environments.

Ability to recommend improvements based on analysis and perceived imperfections.
