Responsibilities

Develops high-quality and scalable application logic with Apex and SOQL.

Develops highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies.

Builds custom applications using Salesforce.com and integrating Salesforce.com with other systems.

Applies best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform.

Partners with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing and Service to implement and rollout cloud applications across NMDP.

Creates and executes unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.

Operates and leverages Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Gathers, analyzes and documents functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users.

Deploys packages to production on a routine cadence.

Performs application support for Salesforce products when necessary.

Other duties as assigned.

Required

Knowledge of Lightning Framework, Apex, JavaScript, Aura, and Component-based frameworks.

Knowledge of web development best practices, especially application security.

Knowledge of the tradeoffs of development on a multi-tenant platform with known limits.

Extensive experience with Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds.

Ability to collaborate efficiently with business and technical teams.

Ability to demonstrate understanding and ability to articulate complex requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or other related field preferred. However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement.

2+ years of Salesforce application development, including code-based and declarative techniques.

Extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle best practices.

A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
