Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
Resolve software problem reports and utilize appropriate software development methodologies.
Analyze user requirements, debug existing software, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
Design and code new software, integrate existing software into new systems, and develop data queries for databases.
Apply knowledge of ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and Service Portal, and code with programming languages and databases including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Serve as a team lead, design or implement complex database interfaces, and develop or implement algorithms to meet system performance standards.
Assist with test procedures, analyze system flow and data usage, and modify existing software to correct errors or improve performance.
Oversee software development teams, coordinate system installation, and interact with project customers and stakeholders.
Research and assess software tools and technologies, serve as a technical lead, recommend new technologies and processes, and ensure quality control of software projects.

Required
Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
Fifteen (15) years of applicable design and development experience is required.
Twelve (12) years direct experience leading teams of software design and development for collection systems and components is required.
Experience creating and implementing scripts, business rules, policies, ACLs and otherwise configure or modify ServiceNow applications to meet requirements.
Experience providing advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis.
Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP.
Experience coding in scripting languages (i.e.: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON or other languages used in ServiceNow).
Five (5) years experience developing on and administration of the ServiceNow Platform is required.
CWIP IAT Level 2 Required.
ServiceNow System Administrator certification OR ServiceNow Application Developer certification is required.
Preferred
A bachelor's degree and two (2) additional years of SWE experience OR six (6) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a master's degree.
ITILv3, ITILv4, or ITILv5 Certification at any level will meet the requirement, i.e., Foundation, Managing Professionals, Strategic Leaders, etc.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
