Responsibilities
Hands-on experience in Server-side/Web Services development
Participating in all phases of the SDLC
Implementing applications utilizing J2EE Application Server, Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies
Programming in Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP web services, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, Spring, JSON, XML, JWT, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, Postman, ReadyAPI, Mule
Implementing REST services security using JWT, OAuth, and other related technologies / standards
Developing self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
Test-driven development using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Selenium
Optimizing and maintaining enterprise-level web services
Implementing best practices in application design, performance, scalability, and maintainability
Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts
Demonstrating oral and written communication skills

Required
Hands-on experience in Server-side/Web Services development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications on the J2EE application development platform
Hands-on experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)
Hands-on development experience implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies
Hands-on programming experience in following languages / technologies: Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP web services, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, Spring, JSON, XML, JWT, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, Postman, ReadyAPI, Mule
Preferred
Experience implementing REST services security using JWT, OAuth, and other related technologies / standards
Experience implementing REST services supporting client-facing applications
Experience in development of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
Experience in Test-driven development and test creation using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Selenium
Demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining an enterprise-level web services including complete ownership of the services stack
Experience in implementing best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability
Strong understanding and experience of fundamental programming concepts of data structures, algorithms, performance, caching and scalability issues in the context of Web based UI applications
Oral and written communication skills
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or management information systems is required
