Responsibilities

Design and develop software needed to market Code products

Architect and implement software solutions

Responsible for the production and maintenance of software products that meets quality system requirements as it relates to Code Corporation

Maintain and improve all software products

Interface to barcode readers over a number of different types of interfaces (USB, RS232, Bluetooth)

Collaborate with other personnel to identify, define, and solve any issues

Responsible for SDK development and documentation

Work with outsource partners to ensure they are meeting Code’s expectation

Work with domestic and international software development partners

Work with marketing to define new product requirements, write product specifications and estimate schedules

Required

Proficiency in mobile application development for Android and iOS platforms.

Strong knowledge of programming languages: Java, Kotlin (for Android), Swift, and Objective-C (for iOS).

Experience with cross-platform development frameworks: React Native, Flutter, or MAUI is a plus.

Familiarity with creating and utilizing RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in source code versioning and control systems, including branching and merging practices.

3+ years of experience developing a variety of software applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Comfortable working in Agile/iterative development environments.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn new technologies.
