Responsibilities
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Test, and deploy software releases.
Integrate software components and third-party programs.
Maintain a focus of quality and testability of delivered solutions alongside creating technical documentation.
Troubleshoot issues, identify improvement opportunities, and implement technical solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and continuously develop your skills.
Guide and support junior engineers, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
Maintain a collaborative and respectful team environment - Assume we are all well intentioned and want the best for Glean.

Required
Strong programming skills (object oriented and/ or functional).
Front end technologies HTML5, CSS and JavaScript frameworks (we mainly use TypeScript and React).
Back end technologies (we use Kotlin).
Mobile technologies (we use Flutter).
Persistence (mainly SQL, specifically PostgreSQL), some NoSQL.
Knowledge of best practices in automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, code quality etc.
Strong communication skills, with 'passionate views, loosely held' – articulate ideas clearly but remain open to other perspectives.
Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and adopt a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
