Responsibilities

The Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements.

The Software Engineer work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.

Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes.

Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.

Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required

Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.

Four or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure

Proficiency working with C# and .NET technologies such as ASP.NET Core, MVC and legacy .NET frameworks.

Proficiency implementing security integrations with .NET, such as user security, SSO in web and mobile applications, SAML 2.0, WS Federation, OAuth2.0 and OIDC.

Proficiency in upgrading .NET frameworks and packages, including source control management and integrating CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.

Provides direction and best practices on .NET applications, including modernization and maintaining EOL upgrades.

Familiar with front-end technologies such as Angular, ASP.NET Blazor and Razor, Bootstrap, CSS, DevExpress, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Contributes to the team by providing code reviews and suggestions on code improvements for team members.

Solid understanding of AGILE principals and methodologies, with experience in the SCRUM and Kanban frameworks
