Responsibilities

Managing Linux hosts (RHEL or CENTOS) in an enterprise environment.

Deploying worldwide enterprise solutions.

Installing, configuring and managing Linux operating systems.

Configuring and troubleshooting network components.

Implementing operating systems enhancements.

Prototyping enterprise scale solutions.

Developing and supporting Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications

Performing detailed analysis

Required

On-the-job experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role.

Experience with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.

Experience working with AWS-based solutions.

Experience with writing scripts in Bash and Python.

Experience executing shell scripts.

Experience deploying applications.

Experience with Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications.

Experience with Nessus.

Experience using Agile methodologies.

Preferred

Demonstrated experience with VMWare and RAID configurations.

Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies.

Demonstrated experience with Cloudwatch.

Demonstrated experience using the Atlassian Suite of tools.

Demonstrated experience with the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

Demonstrated experience using the command line to interact with LDAP repositories.

Demonstrated experience with XML schemas.

Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s systems lifecycle.

Certifications: VMWare Certified Professional, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Red Hat System Certified Administrator.
