Responsibilities
Support algorithm/waveform/technique development existing primarily in the Radio Frequency (RF) space.
Assist with the design and development of networking techniques and protocols, database management systems, and programming in high order languages (e.g., C++, Python).
Leverage knowledge of software design principles to maximize readability and maintainability.
Support the integration of sensor capabilities to include hardware/software consolidation, virtualization, and cybersecurity compliance.
Assist with turning requirements and specifications into working software.
Work with computer simulation, client-server architectures, networking techniques and protocols, databases (flat-file, relational, and object-oriented), high-order programming languages, and operating systems.
Serve as a technical manager within an Agile development process to guide development and design choices.
Collaborate with internal/external developer teams to balance user needs and program constraints.
Develop, analyze, and manage system-level and software-level requirements and interfaces.
Engage in model-based system engineering activities.
Represent the organization in technical and programmatic exchanges to refine concepts, use cases, and system requirements.
Review and provide input to requirements, specifications, reviews, and presentations material.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline preferred.
Three (3) years of relevant experience required.
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Preferred
Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and/or Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) understanding and implementation within the DoD.
DoD and Army data exchange and message structure and operational use cases.
Electromagnetic Warfare operations (Army and Joint).
Familiarity with Army Acquisition activities, especially within a Product Manager office.
Familiarity with software testing principles, writing software, and knowledge of software testing frameworks a plus.
Experience with Agile software development processes and ability to identify user needs and trace them to functions for development efforts.
Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
