Responsibilities
Writes code, debugs and performs unit testing in all application layers and data access layer in accordance with RoadRunner’s technical standards.
Participates in code reviews with manager to ensure accurate code and design techniques are being used and to further technical knowledge.
Assist in the full software lifecycle activities including project planning, requirement analysis, design, development, quality assurance and documentation.

Required
Intermediate to high proficiency in full-stack web development is a requirement for this position as well as years of experience with at least one popular front-end and back-end web framework
1-3 years of working experience in web development
Proficient in database design and querying, including advanced knowledge of SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Solid computer science fundamentals are required.
Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner.
Enthusiasm for our sustainability driven mission
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
Preferred
Experience with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus
