Responsibilities

You will be part of a cloud infrastructure software engineering team collaboratively designs, builds, and maintains automation tools that ensuring seamless and efficient operations for the organization's which accelerating the developer experience.

You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.

Engage in and improve end-to-end lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.

Analyze complex system behavior, performance, and application issues.

Apply modern software engineering practices to streamline deployments, drive down costs and operational overhead while meeting critical reliability and availability KPIs.

Work hand in hand with engineering teams to offer guidance and education on integration, testing, monitoring, and security across different technology stacks.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes Platform and DevOps practices

2+ years of Software Engineering experience in designing and deploying large scale distributed services on multiple cloud environments.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience.

Hands-on experience with devops principals including and not limited to Infrastructure, CI/CD, telemetry, networking, security etc.

Hands-on experience with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Hands-on experience with scripting and automation languages and tooling
