Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, resilient APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core, applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and modern microservices best practices to guide design decisions and code quality.
Work heavily within GCP (Google Cloud Platform) utilizing services including BigQuery, CloudSql (Postgres), Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Apigee.
Optimize SQL queries and data processing patterns.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Mentor and support team members by sharing technical expertise, providing guidance, and fostering skill development.
Drive engineering excellence by championing code reviews, maintaining coding standards, and implementing best practices.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends, advocating for their adoption where they add value.

Required

6+ years of commercial software development experience in C#.
4+ years of SQL experience (BigQuery or Postgres preferred), including deep knowledge of database design and query optimization.
Good understanding of Containerization, Kubernetes, and deploying applications at scale.
Good understanding of Domain-Driven Design and microservices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and team growth.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
