Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure work flows through our Kanban engineering process.
Bring your unique perspective and experience to the table. Share knowledge and expertise with the team.
Work closely with Product Management and Product Design to ensure features transition smoothly from concept to reality.
Collaborate with engineering leadership to understand our customers and influence our products.
Break down complex tasks into manageable work items, supporting a process that emphasizes agility, flow, and work in progress limits.
Ensure an effective balance between architecture, documentation, implementation, and automated testing.
Directly contribute to the product via architecture and code.
Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify professional development opportunities for team members.

Required
Demonstrated technical expertise in system design, software architecture, and development practices.
Successful managerial or non-managerial leadership of a team of software engineers, including mentorship and professional development.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams to support a positive culture.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial or non-managerial leadership role.
4+ years of relevant experience with JavaScript (and HTML/CSS). TypeScript and React experience are highly desirable.
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
Applicants should be prepared to provide a code sample or perform a small coding exercise.
