Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, train, and hire engineers across multiple teams

Use Agile practices to coach teams and facilitate ceremonies

Conduct regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and manage compensation

Communicate technical and strategic concepts to business stakeholders

Manage vendors, consultants, and contracts to meet business objectives

Translate business needs into actionable engineering tasks and processes

Partner with Product Management and Design to enhance engineering output

Identify opportunities for engineers' career growth and development

Collaborate with HR to foster a positive employee experience

Create and nurture an inclusive, high-performance work environment

Required

7+ years of experience in a technical software engineering role

3+ years of experience as a hiring manager

Expertise in AWS development technologies and best practices

Business-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail

Ability to lead and represent technical teams with confidence

Eagerness to provide creative, timely solutions to challenges

Open to diverse opinions and personalities

Preferred

BS in Computer Science

Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Adobe Commerce), logistics, and/or financial systems

Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and React
