Responsibilities

Collaborate with Developer Leads, Software Engineers, and Business Systems Analysts to define and execute technical requirements for software solutions.

Guide the team in providing estimates for development work.

Collaborate with team members on systems development and support.

Supervise a team of Software Engineers, including remote team members.

Communicate and contribute to enterprise-level standards within the team.

Work closely with the Software Development Capability Leader and Technical Lead peers to establish development standards.

Contribute to Enterprise Architecture design and understand the impact of environment changes on applications.

Identify technical experimentation opportunities with new technologies that impact team applications and overall Enterprise Architecture.

Ensure implemented solutions meet security guidelines.

Effectively transition custom and off-the-shelf software to the Application Support team.

Understand and communicate resource requirements to meet business delivery expectations.

Contribute to the technology vision and roadmap of the team.

Required

Experience in software development.

Experience in a supervisory role.

Professional experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent).

Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language.

Experience leading and/or participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, analysis, design, documentation, development, prototyping, testing, deployment) to deliver high-quality, scalable, and complex business solutions.

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, processes, and tools.
