Responsibilities

Collaborate with software and other engineers (clinical, systems, mechanical, electrical) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for medical devices and applications

Analyze and understand software requirements to design and implement tests for software features

Independently maintain and execute automation and/or manual test plans for software testing and verification

Perform hands-on software and system testing of complex electro-mechanical systems

Prepare and deliver test reports summarizing test efforts and outcomes.

Collect, analyze, track, and report test results; document and file bugs systematically

Required

BS/MS in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

2+ years manual software testing experience

2+ years programming in Python

Familiarity with common software tool sets, including source control, continuous integration, and automated unit testing

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Passion for medical devices, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

Experience in Design Control for regulated products, software verification, and knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g. ISO13485 and IEC 62304)

Experience testing complex electro-mechanical systems

Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and suite development (ie. Ranorex, Squish, etc)

Knowledge of Linux operating system
