Responsibilities

Prepares for successful installation of large commercial solar photovoltaic systems from contract inception, managing all aspects of the project.

Coordinates with operational units, subcontractors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

Creates schedules, bill of materials, and coordinates with design engineers for accurate plan sets.

Completes solicitation, negotiating, scheduling, and planning for subcontractors and vendors.

Ensures all inspections are complete and the customer's system is commissioned as per contract.

Delivers exceptional customer service internally and externally, promoting Kokosing Solar's quality image.

Takes training on project management processes and works with Commercial Operations team for best practices.

Required

Associates Degree required. Certificate in construction or solar preferred

Experience in solar, construction, or an engineering-related industry managing contractors

Successful track record of project management in large scale commercial work

Be able to work well in a flexible, \

roll up your sleeves\

and dynamic work environment

Proven track record of managing and building projects within their forecasted budgets

Must be highly proficient with the Microsoft Suite, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and accounting software. Experience using Project Management software, such as Microsoft Project Management, Work Zone, Jira, or any other Project Management software tool that includes the usage of Gantt charts preferred

Customer Service: Experience handling potential customers, and current customer base, along with the ability to provide internal customer service to teams. Always thinking with a customer-focused mindset, that promotes the culture and clean energy mission of Third Sun Solar

Experience working with formal construction bids, subcontractor bids, and the request for proposal process

Experience reading blueprints required

The ability to provide construction cost and time estimating to large commercial, small commercial, and residential projects
