Responsibilities

Understands business drivers and capabilities to determine enterprise system designs and change requirements.

Translates business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints.

Analyzes technology trends and disruptions for practical application in business models.

Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for solutions architecture implementation.

Defines principles, guidelines, and standards for solution patterns alignment.

Develops a roadmap for the enterprise application portfolio evolution.

Consults with project leaders to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture.

Manages and develops architecture for projects or products.

Facilitates evaluation and selection of software product standards and services.

Supports product managers in end-of-life product decisions.

Works closely with the program management office to ensure plan execution.

Consults with application and infrastructure development project leaders.

Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives

Ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions

Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls

Excellent understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture

Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development

Preferred

Experience working in the Healthcare Industry preferred, but not required.

Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps

Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences

Knowledge of various backend development languages like Java, Python

Knowledge of various database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB and Oracle

Knowledge of various frontend web development languages like JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Knowledge and understanding of different modeling languages
