Responsibilities

Architect scalable and efficient solutions using the Databricks platform for data engineering, machine learning, and analytics workflows.

Lead the deployment and integration of Databricks with existing data ecosystems, ensuring seamless data processing and storage.

Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

Provide hands-on technical guidance in Spark, Python, SQL, and other Databricks-supported technologies.

Optimize Databricks jobs, clusters, and data pipelines to ensure performance and cost efficiency.

Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the Databricks ecosystem.

Educate internal teams on leveraging Databricks features effectively.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics roles.

Expertise with the Databricks platform, including cluster management, Delta Lake, and MLFlow.

Proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Databricks.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, big data processing, and real-time analytics.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data platforms.

Preferred

Databricks Data Engineer Associate Certification or Databricks Data Engineer Professional Certification strong preferred.
