Responsibilities

Lead the practice and introduce the overall technical vision.

Conduct business/technology impact assessments and design solutions.

Ensure implementation aligns with best practices and organizational guidelines.

Lead the RFP process to replace existing systems

Work within projects to design both logical and physical components of solution architectures.

Propose relevant evolution scenarios in compliance with objectives and target processes.

Manage and develop the solution architecture map, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan.

Specify and validate standards and frameworks for the IS functional architecture.

Gather, review, and interpret business requirements, translating them into system guidelines and project features.

Design and build integration flows and data models between the solution and its environment.

Maintain documentation, deliverables, and governance following standard architecture management processes.

Act as an expert on architecture, fostering the implementation of best practices.

Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments.

Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to review and investigate new solutions.

Provide expertise to Software Asset Managers for managing solution providers.

Stay updated with new functionalities and roadmaps from editors.

Meet with business units to demonstrate solutions, answer questions, and resolve issues.

Promote the information system map among business unit management and executive management.

Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to reinforce best practices.

Develop deep knowledge relating to Legal and HSE programs, enabling departments to effectively manage complex requests or inquiries.

Manage and direct vendor relationships.

Lead process design and enablement for Legal and HSE functions.

Oversee data maintenance and integrity for Legal and HSE systems.

Support technology roadmap for Legal and HSE platforms.

Direct execution and implementation of system configurations and enhancements.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

Facilitate end-user training and provide customer service to internal users.

Utilize Conga, Salesforce, and Salus/Enablon tools for system management and reporting.

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Proven experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on application and system design.

Strong knowledge of architecture principles, system integration, and security best practices.

Experience with applications addressing key business capabilities for legal applications (e.g., e-discovery, litigation hold, case management) and health & safety applications.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Functional Experience: 5 years

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Oracle, Informatica).

Experience with data modeling techniques and tools.

Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and security best practices.

Proficiency in business process modeling and system integration.

Familiarity with health and safety processes and applications.
