Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design of complex enterprise systems, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance with organizational policies.

Develop comprehensive system architecture documentation, including hardware specifications, design strategies, and configuration management plans.

Analyze client requirements, providing tailored, scalable solutions that align with both technical needs and organizational objectives.

Leverage modern technologies, such as the ESRI Enterprise platform, to enhance system capabilities and scalability.

Help driving the adoption of modern practices, such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), to streamline development and operational efficiency.

Proposal Development and writing

Contribute to business development efforts by writing, reviewing, and refining technical content for proposals.

Collaborate with capture teams to develop innovative and competitive solutions that meet client requirements.

Provide input on technical approaches, project schedules, and cost estimations to strengthen proposal submissions.

Ensure all solutions align with federal and agency-specific policies, including security, data governance, and operational standards.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, providing insights to improve organizational capabilities.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment of project objectives.

Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.

Develop and deliver presentations or reports to support decision-making processes.

Required

Master's Degree or higher (or Bachelor's with additional experience) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing complex architectures, with at least 8 years specializing in geospatial or enterprise systems.

Expertise in enterprise platforms like the ESRI Enterprise suite.

Proven experience with CI/CD tools and practices to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Strong understanding of modern IT architecture and configuration management.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
