Responsibilities

Create technical estimates and propose solutions for mid to large-scale projects

Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that all proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards

Translate specific business requirements into technical solution architectures including application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and non-functional requirements around supportability, resiliency, security, etc.

Translate general business requirements and business trends in architecture patterns and technology ecosystems including data center architecture, application architecture patterns, integration architecture patterns, technology standards, non-functional technical requirements, and computing paradigms

Designs and delivers solutions to meet advanced business needs

Investigates and clarifies business unit pain-points, addresses issues

Develops and communicates solutions with options, leveraging standard reference architectures, design patterns, technology guidelines and standards

Produce all architectural solution and project deliverables without assistance

May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science OR associate’s degree in computer science with years of architecture-related experience OR high school diploma/GED with four years' architecture-related experience.

Typically twelve or more years of architecture or related experience (in addition to any experience identified above).

Experience in re-platforming within the Web and Mobile domains.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to effectively partner with both business and technical team members.

Ability to collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that all proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards.
