Responsibilities
15+ years of experience of overall IT experience.
5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect role with the proven ability to define architecture and roadmaps to solve complex business problems.
5+ years' actualizing solutions by assembling technology building blocks aligning to business needs.
Proven ability to work with customer CxO / Enterprise Architecture team.
Experience in architecting and designing solutions.
Drive top-down solutions for complex deals involving multiple service lines and technical disciplines as part of RFI, RFP and informal deal processes.
Lead a multi-functional team of tower architects and SMEs across their respective domains.
Work closely with clients, 3rd party intermediaries and internal Cognizant technical domain teams to build high impact outcome-based solutions.
Define solution roadmaps and direction building on synergies and commonalities across lines of business and technologies.
Envision a Transformation roadmap that aligns with the strategic and tactical direction of the client's expectations.
Drive the translation of complex business initiatives into creative, innovative business-technology solutions, and ensure consistency across traditional solution boundaries.
Work with Business Stakeholders and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients' existing business processes, applications, infrastructure, and recommend compelling solutions.
Insurance domain knowledge (Anyone domain: Life, Annuities, Commercial, P&C, Group, Retirements).
Experience in Cloud Native architecture and development in AWS and/or Azure and/or other cloud platforms (Nice to have).
Experience in Cloud Migration to AWS and/or Azure and/or other cloud providers (Nice to have).
The candidate must be very good in-app rationalization/transformation, tech currency implementation (Nice to have).
Technology Governance – standards, guidelines, tech stack, versioning etc. exposure.
Experience and a good grasp of DevSecOps/Automation, CI/CD, Release Management etc. (Nice to have).
Skills for Digital Channel Front-end Development architecture/frameworks/patterns, mobility etc. (Nice to have).
The candidate must possess good communication and the ability to articulate / present solution aspects.
Strong leadership skills, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
