Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert of Transact Campus Commerce (POS and Mobile Ordering) products.

Engage in strategic conversations regarding Transact product capabilities and benefits with customers and prospects.

Identify and propose hardware and software solutions to meet customer and prospect defined use cases.

Conduct periodic internal training sessions to keep the sales team updated on new product features and functions.

Work with Account Executives and Client Success Managers to sell strategic product value, develop client-focused solutions, and document solutions in proposals

Develop proposals, both written and oral, for client-focused solutions

Provide rapid, accurate responses to questions from sales staff in the field

Provide information and recommendations to assist with the development of responses to RFPs/RFIs.

Conduct product demonstrations and setup evaluation environments. Oversee the evaluation process.

Other duties as assigned

Expect travel to be 40-50% with Client sales visits and conferences being the majority

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or 3+ years relevant experience

3 - 5 years technical experience, preferably in Campus One Card, Point of Sale (POS), and Mobile Ordering.

Strong presentation, communication and writing skills

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

Demonstrated problem solving, decision-making and collaboration skills

A self-motivated, quick learner, who has a desire to win business

Proven ability to manage time, multi-task and excel in a deadline-oriented environment while supporting several proposal projects simultaneously.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Proficient with conducting online meetings using solutions such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom

Preferred

Previous experience working in the Higher Education market in a technical aspect

Previous enterprise software experience (2+ years preferable)

Comprehension of software architecture with an understanding of enterprise software applications such as ODBC databases, Microsoft Azure, Mobile platforms, and SaaS products

Understanding of enterprise system deployment environments and integrations to include authentication services, restful APIs, event messaging and network topography
