Responsibilities

Create business analysis reports of contracts and contract spend using Microsoft applications like Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, etc.

Work with Category Management Team and Business Owners on data gathering for requests for proposals (RFPs).

Develop an understanding of the external marketplace and conduct due diligence regarding prospective suppliers.

Negotiate contract terms with selected suppliers and assist in the continual development and optimization of operating procedures.

Required

College Graduate BS in business related major

3-5 years of procurement related experience

2+ years of experience in a Procurement, Finance or Audit role a plus

ISM CPSM, CIPS, or similar is a plus

Experienced working in a 'Strategic Sourcing' environment

Preferred

Familiarity with procurement systems and systems management, specific experience with SAP Ariba a plus

Strong project management and process skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong bias for action

The ability to effectively convey complex and detailed information to a diverse population

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with demonstrated business/financial acumen

Proficient with Windows applications, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
