Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Manage the sourcing process from initial procurement through delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment of production requirements.
Collaborate with supply chain management and production planning teams to forecast material needs.
Conduct root cause analysis for any sourcing-related issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain comprehensive records of all sourcing activities, including contracts and supplier performance metrics.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment on project goals.
Monitor market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities that can enhance operational efficiency.

Required
Background in RFPs & RFQs and experience working in the healthcare industry is REQUIRED.
Experience in supply chain management and production planning is essential.
Proven ability to procure materials effectively while managing costs.
Familiarity with contract negotiation and contract management processes.
Demonstrated skills in sourcing strategies, including the ability to buy and fabricate as needed.
Excellent analytical skills, particularly in root cause analysis related to supply chain issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Working with construction projects is preferred, but not required.
Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations is preferred.
