Responsibilities
Provide guidance, analysis, and strategic planning related to space requests and scheduling in University State owned facilities.
Organize and lead meetings, act as a liaison for customers with relevant campus service departments, schedule facilities, and generate event documentation.
Maintain University space-related data through physical space audits/inspections, updating databases, analyzing space data, and providing reports and recommendations for efficient space utilization and planning.
Oversee classroom furniture inventory, maintenance, and placement, and assist with department budgetary transactions and oversight.
Provide lead work direction and train students and support staff, perform specialized functions, and collaborate with internal and external customers to provide innovative solutions.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, laws, regulations, University facilities, and technical and computer skills.

Required
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience
Experience learning, interpreting, applying and explaining complex policies and procedures
Experience in organizing and leading meetings/projects and presenting data and findings
Experience providing training and supervision and/or lead work direction
Extensive customer service experience with various stakeholders
Experience with event scheduling, planning, and management
Experience in performing basic budgeting and monitoring expenses
Ability to lead others, promote teamwork, build cooperative relationships, and achieve program goals
Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively with attention to detail
Ability to take initiative, plan, organize, multi-task, and prioritize job duties
Ability to provide technical support in room use, scheduling, reporting, software interface, documentation, processes, and requirements
Ability to investigate, analyze, comprehend, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to space-related problems
Knowledge of computer and report processing, data entry, and database management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Screen Capture Software, Internet Browsers, etc.
Excellent writing skills for reports, procedures, training documents, emails, etc.
Effective verbal and listening skills for presentations
Problem-solving skills with sound judgment
Excellent interpersonal skills for maintaining a welcoming and inclusive work environment
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Proficient skills using various internal campus systems such as Astra Schedule, CMS HR and SA, CFS Finance, etc.
Experience working in an institution of higher education and with academic class scheduling
Working knowledge of Sacramento State institution, its culture, mission, strategic plan, physical environment, facilities, and scheduling policies
