Responsibilities

Performing a variety of duties to assemble, mount, and test development and production space propulsion systems, components, and rigs.

Working from procedures, drawings/prints, and specifications while interfacing with engineering to meet requirements on new or development hardware.

Assisting in cleaning, assembly, setup, and pressure testing of components, rigs, and facilities.

Operating and maintaining various support equipment, making simple modifications as required.

Working with mechanics hand tools and specialty tools on light to medium weight parts.

Assisting in devising and developing improved tooling and process changes in both the assembly and test processes.

Auditing records, analyzing and computing data, and maintaining logs to assure compliance to departmental procedures and customer requirements.

Complying with Federal & State Environmental and Safety regulations, as well as conforming to Company guidelines and procedures for operation of test facilities and space propulsion systems.

Performing other related work in support of department objectives.

Airframe Powerplant LicenseEquivalent Industrial ExperienceTechnical DegreeTrade SchoolEquivalent

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

0-4 years of experience

Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or equivalent industrial experience

Preferred

Two-year technical degree, trade school, or equivalent
