Responsibilities
Perform systems engineering or integration and testing in DoD space systems.
Develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities.
Translate real-world needs into technical specifications for the mission.
Assist the government as the Lead Systems Integrator to ensure successful integration of space, ground, and crypto segments.
Provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the engineering team supporting the program office.
Utilize a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines.
Collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel.

Required
10+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration and testing in DoD space systems
Experience with requirements development or verification
Experience with Risk processes and Risk Management
Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Experience in Confluence or JIRA
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to work collaboratively and independently demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks in cross-functional teams
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science
Preferred
5+ years of experience with military SATCOM systems
5+ years of experience with space acquisition
Experience utilizing Agile methodologies
Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
Agile certifications, such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP
